There is an enormous number of Forex trading courses and strategies available online today. In fact, there are so many they are all out to differentiate themselves from each other and they usually do this either by offering “hands free” schemes or incredibly complex systems. The hands free schemes are usually just various trading robots and or extremely simple strategies based on one or two basic indicators with no real background or explanation about how or why the strategy is supposed to work. The complex systems tend to use all kinds of complicated indicators which are then integrated through diverse formulas and calculations. While many of these more complicated systems ostensibly explain how they work, they do so in such a convoluted fashion that it is almost impossible to determine whether or not the explanations actually mean anything or not.
The result of this is that there is a very obvious opening for John Templeton’s revolutionary “Trading In The Buff” system. No, this has nothing to do with trading in the nude, but alludes to the idea of stripping away all the unnecessary complications from Forex trading and applying a price action strategy based on direct observation. That is, essentially, the basis of John Templeton’s system: dropping all the indicators, signals, projections and simply tracking the actual price action of currencies and then identifying the trends and patterns to be found within this price action. Like most Forex strategies, the underlying basis is still trend-based trading, but what makes this particular system unique is that identifying the trend is done manually, based on actual price action as opposed to complex indicators that may or may not be worth the money spent to learn them.
Perhaps the most important advantage of the Trading In The Buff system is that it virtually eliminates the traders overhead expense. One thing that many new traders completely overlook is that they are not really making money if they spend more on systems, trading chats, signalling services, books, and training courses than they actually make trading over the long run. In fact, if a trader is subscribed to two or three services and running several different robots, it is entirely possible that despite making many pips they will never actually make up the cash spent on the systems and tools. The Trading In The Buff systems virtually eliminates the overhead expense, providing the trader with the knowledge needed to trade directly based on his or her own observations.
